Picked up a Taurus pt1911 yesterday for $225. I'm sure I'll flip it but not a bad deal. Not worth starting a thread over.

It won't be a bad one, jus make sure you're using quality mags and it'll do just fine.

Make sure to keep it lubricated. Obvious I know, but a lot of hang ups I've seen with that piece, were due to mags and poor lubrication. (My cousin has one).

I don't hate Taurus as much as most. On black Friday I bought there newer model 9mm for $330. Pt92 I think. Modeled after the beretta. That was a sweet gun. Took it to the gun show and a guy said he'd give me $450 for it. I was like "mmm okaaay I hate to let it go but I guess I will"
This 1911 is a .45. Guy had just put it up for $200 on Armslist. Offered him $175 and told him id come in three hours. He got two $250 offers in between then so I told him id do $225. I doubt I'll ever even shoot it. Figured I could get $350 easy from these goobs at the gun show.

Any word from Cabela's for anyone that ordered those boxes of AE 5.56 back on 3/13? I had 2 pending charges on my card that day, but there are currently no charges to my card amd i havent heard a peep.

Check the orders in your email, the tracking numbers should be live. If not, maybe most were cancelled, I had seven orders cancelled from them yesterday.

just got an email from cabelas saying they just shipped my herters 223 that i have been on backorder for since jan 2nd! 1000 rounds $339.00
