I heard Ray Lewis and Tony G both have deals in place with ESPN next year.

Me too, but I can't fault him for wanting to move on and spend time with his kids. They looked like they're getting to the age where they will actually remember spending time with him now from that pre-game clip.

Browns are working on 49, right?

Took the Steelers 40 years also, if I remember correctly.

Can't believe those turnovers

Turnovers I can believe. I was just surprised we didn't snag one early in the game as amped up as our defense was playing. Texted a friend when Peters made that deflection that it needed to be a pick and might prove costly. Lose turnover battle, often times lose game.

and officiating.

Awful no call at the end, it was within 5 yards but definite holding. The catch that was reviewed that most Saints fans are hanging as the "it all evens out" play I've yet to see a gif of the ball hitting the ground. (my tv down here sucks... missing my HD back home right now) Looked like a play that no matter how it was called it was going to stand. Lots of PI on our deep ball throws though JJ got away with some push offs as well. I blame coaching for the slow methodical drive down the field to finish the game. Have to move with a purpose and give yourself another out. The defense was playing poorly I know but you have to like your chances to force OT if you just play to only give up a field goal in a 3-4 minute left game.

bullshite all you want, but they get their go-ahead drive extended when we barely touch Kaep and then there is no PI on our 4th down.

I wonder if Kaep will give himself a catchy nickname now

This I left out... also, worse roughing the passer no call on them shortly thereafter

I agree it's a bs penalty, but given the way the rule is written, it was the correct call. I've seen lamer hits to the QB's helmet penalized.

What about the Douglas catch where the ball is rolling on the ground but still called a catch even after review? That trumped any bad call against the Falcons.

He hit him in the fricking face. Thats a regular season penalty, pre-season penalty, playoff penalty and a probowl penalty.

Then why was the shot to Ryan's helmet not called? Ours was certainly not "forcible" as it glanced off the facemask and didn't cause his head to move whatsoever. His helmet moved but it had so little impact that he didn't even feel the need to flop.

Yet to see ANY gif/video of this in HD showing the ball hit the ground. Once again, had it been called incomplete on the field, I think the call stands as well. The TV I was watching on was iffy but I saw, a hand under the ball, after he hits the turf he loses the grip on the ball with it IN THE AIR and regains control. In that scenario, the pass is complete. Show me where the ball hit the ground. That is why it wasn't overturned if you can't.

I made no predictions. No crow to eat.

But we should not have lost that game.
