If you look at all of the 2 and 3 star players that Miles has signed, the majority of them were non contributors.

No we don't, but I like the OP's optimism. Gives us something to look forward to until the season starts.

You should learn from him instead of trying to piss on his thread.....

Mathieu was a top 250 player in the country and top 5 in the state.

What? Where's that link? Before LSU showed any interest in Mathieu he was a 2 star. He never sniffed the Top 250 or the top 5 in La,my friend.

Way to show your arse, Andy. Go find a board that covers subjects you have a clue about. Click the link below. Rivals had him #191 nationally, #13 CB in the country, and #5 in the state. He played above these rankings but he clearly received recognition coming out of high school. He committed to LSU before his senior year.

I thought he was later than that.

Either way, a November offer is pretty late in the game.

It is. Just wanted to clarify that he wasn't a last minute plan B type guy. The staff stayed on him and Claiborne earned the offer based on his senior year performance.

Herron is around 6'5" - Desean 6'4-5"...Spears looks around 6'3" to me...definitely taller than 6'1.

I believe the rivals link was updated well after Tyrann made it to college. I don't show him anywhere in the top 50 in state except for Dandy Don. Look at the offers he had on Rivals as well. Top five in state would definitely have a lot more offers than what he showed.
Some sites actually showed him unrated.

Seems to be a good bit of revisionist history on the part of Rivals.

TN blew up after he camped at Tennessee, before committing to LSU. If I remember correctly it was said he was the best player at the UT camp.

Yea and Tyrann is 5"10.. Lafell was listed at 6'4 then 6'3 then 6'2. Rueben Randle was listed at 6'4 and he measured only 6'2. He aint 6'3 period. Saw him and Sydie London play against each other in Basketball and Sydie might be a little bit taller than him and he is listed as 6'2 on Tulanes roster. Watch the highlights and u will see. LINK
