We opted to hunt a new lake and with just two shooters we had a great am. We were certainly where the ducks wanted to land. The first group landed as I was throwing out deeks. Wave after wave of ducks coming back in repetitively. We stopped when we got a limit of redheads though.

Then when we get back my buddy sends me a pic of a trophy Auodad he shot on our lease.

That is a big aoudad. I shot one 2 years ago on Easter morning out on our low fence property. Still have no clue where he came from. Coolest thing I've killed for sure.

Meat is supposedly pretty nasty. Shooter is going to mount though.

Same place up by entry gate. There are a few places around here with exotics. Must have escaped.

That's the one thing I miss the most about living here . We have all the Exotics and Deer in the world . But would rather hunt Ducks . I used to hunt them just about everyday of the season and would rather eat duck than deer any day .

thats nuts. A few years ago someone shot an axis at a place near ours in mississippi. The nearest exotic ranch is a long way away.

I can't imagine killing something I wasn't going to eat. I'm not going to preach though.

Try it, I dare you.

My uncle can cook down a flat tire with motor oil for gravy and make it taste good. Aoudad still tasted like buffalo shite when he cooked it.

It would be fine to feed to dogs most likely. Dogs are tough arse animals

Thank you SS. Wish I was the shooter, but I'm better looking than him anyway.
