Why doesn't LSU have a hockey team?

10 SEC schools have hockey teams. Watching NHL is always entertaining, I don't see why college hockey wouldn't be. It would be nice for LSU to have a decent sport to watch in between football and baseball seasons. I know LSU would have to also come up with a female sport because of Title XI but other SEC schools found a way to have it. Thoughts?

Pretty sure we have a club team and all the sec teams are club teams

LSU would probably try to have a real soccer team first.....

LSU had a club team that played at Uncle Leo's but they were so bad they all quit the team in the middle of the season an forfeited the rest of their games.

Florida and Arizona have sucha large transplant of Yankees to support those teams. The fact is teams are supported by people who played those sports as kids.

Because no one who attends LSU can play hockey. Except for maybe that one Canadian guy.

Cant speak for Arizona, but Florida has a ton of Canadian transplants, ones that stay down there all winter.
