ZER0, the loyalty Miles shows towards players, it would take a catastrophic event for Rivers to take Metts spot.

Yeah, even if someone is more talented, Miles will stick with his upperclassman...it's just how Miles operates, good or bad...

When people like you say retarded fricking things like that,,, thats what dumbs this place down and make others not want to read.

You know as much about SRivers as you do Sam Houston states 2nd string qb.

Wrong.

OBJ and Jarvis start over the older WRs
Collins over Josh D at LG
Vadal over several older OTs
HIlliard last year
Hill this year

and that just on offense
Les plays players when they are ready to play. Deal with it.

everyone, including towson, knows how to shut down LSU:

1. load the box and stuff the run.
2. man-up on the WR's; they struggle getting separation.
3. mett is NO RUNNING THREAT at all... can't outrun his shadown.

LSU needs a more mobile qb... not necessarily a dual-threat qb but someone who can at least threaten the defense with a 4 - 5 yard pick-up.

mett is the slowest qb i've seen in 30 yrs.

It seems as though if #2 gets corrected then #3 wouldn't be needed at all. Our WRs are average. Our OL had 3 freshmen playing on it. And our whole offensive passing strategy is pedestrian at best. It is not a must to have a mobile QB to win in college. Mett has the tools to be a great college QB.

Tom Brady is a statue in the nfl, but he's really good. He also has a OL than can block for 3-5 seconds consistently.

I will say this if our OL coaching/execution and WR play doesn't improve, then our QB play is going to suffer. Then I grant you we need a mobile QB to make up for our lack of all that I listed above. We need a big time WR. Landry is a slot WR. If leslie can step up next year, it could mean a world of difference to this offense.

There's absolutely zero chance of Rivers replacing Mett. Mettenberger has that year of experience, a load of talent, and I believe he'll have a big senior season.

Mett is a good QB! The O problems are not Metts fault Ignorant fans blame the qb. Heck if our receivers would have caught the balls that were in their hands his stats would been better!

What about the balls 5 yards ahead of their routes?

Is this why Hill was the leading rusher this season?!

Over react a little max-sec?
There are plenty qb's that are not mobile at the next level. 3 play today. Matty, Tom and Flaco(sp).
We need an oline for him to be successful though.
As well as better receiver play. He also needs to cut out mistakes.

Saying 0% is stupid, throwing out random things that no one can predict that could happen from behind the scenes..

So which is it? Is it Dumbass Miles , or the receivers? ONCE AGAIN, ANY PLAY CAN BE SUCCESSFUL , IF THE PLAYERS EXECUTE. you think Bama is running some great offensive scheme?

ett's not a Heisman candidate, but he's a highly competent college QB with NFL upside. If you don't see that you should stop commenting because you're just not up to it. I was a Mett skeptic going into this year. Not any more.

Ha. You clearly don't know qbing. While Mett played BETTER at the end of the yeAr , he was wildly inconstant , had zero pocket presence and his accuracy isn't all that great either. He would make a great throw, followed by two horrible throws. I will say that, at the beginning of the year , his wrs were dreadful. If you think Mett has NFL upside, your dumb. He has a strong arm. That's it.

Half second of air under those passes is all he needs. How he has gone two years at LSU and still has this problem is beyond me.

If he still has those issues this year, it's the QB coach. Every problem he has is fixable.
