if we really do get Cameron as OC, and if we dump studrawa and emsinger, then yes, we have an excellent chance, maybe more than one.

if not, if we try this same crap that we have been with the same awful coaches, zero chance. we'd be lucky to stay top 20.

we are on a precipice right now, and Miles can either save LSU or doom it. every one in college football knows what our problems are, if he at least tries to fix them, we should be fine. if he continues to be a stubborn arse, were screwed.

Of course LSU is in the mix - we were one play from beating Alabama and making the SEC CCG/BCS NCG this year

One play from a possible repeat appearance in the BCS NCG and we have people posting stuff like this?

Yeah and you said we would lose 2 or 3 games in 2011 so what's your point you miserable negative frick?

You will never be a better predictor of a future seasons results than us pumpers because your hatred blinds you to the facts of CLM's 80% win rate.

You will always underestimate the coaching job Miles will do and he will just keep proving you wrong by winning at an elite level.

Miles is gonna be here till he decides to leave, so you're just gonna have to TAKE it and wallow in your misery!

Why was LSU "1 play" from winning? Who led them to be in a position to lose with 4 completely stupid and unnecessary trick plays? Who went conservative in the 2nd half? Who didn't let Mett throw when he was doing a great job of it all over Bama?

You're right there at the answer. People post "stuff like this" because the coach needs to make changes. Until he does, you think LSU is going to win a NC when they couldn't with the teams they had in 2010, 2011, and 2012?

If you look at 2011 as a whole and conclude it shows negative things about LSU as a football program we don't have much to discuss. They shite the bed in the NC game against an opponent they had already beaten. That sucks but the year as a whole was incredible for the dominance that team showed.

How successful LSU will be in 2013 will be a function of how hard the players and coaches work in this offseason. The schedule is against them (@Bama, @UGA, @TCU, vs A&M, vs Florida) but the team could be good enough to win the SEC in spite of that

LSU fans are the worst in the nation. We lose players every year. The mesh between the recruiting classes over the years locks in perfectly and there is plenty, if not more talent there. The D-Line will be more productive with better overall linebackers and Loston will be a beast leading martin and the jalens along with the top recruits comings in. Look for the offense to take a few steps further with the O-Line healthy and more experienced. Blue, Hillard and Hill pounding the rock, another year with those athletic receivers and three big recruits coming in on the outside. The tight ends will be on a whole other level, and Mettenberger should have a clue this year. Also special teams should be great yet again. If you have something negative to say about my post, frick yourself

This. We could be the NE Patriots and it wouldn't matter. Until Les Miles takes a big step back, or becomes a shell of his former self, quality of recruits and talent will matter nada.

Yep LSU is fricked with les miles. Sure you will get the occasional 13-0 season but that wont be the norm while he is here.

Check the meter! Sarcasm that is.

Unfortunately I do not feel we will win another NC anytime soon but that is ok. I sm perfectly happy if we are rated in the top 20 and have 2 or 3 losses every year. I call that a successful program!

Here's the problem with you supposed "posiTigers"; you assume everything is black and white. You either swallow Miles' jizz like some of you do or you hate LSU and want to kill babies.

I didn't say ANYTHING about 2011 as a whole. What I did say was Miles screwed the pooch in the NC and if THAT team didn't win a NC, what makes you think this upcoming one will in 2013? I actually was paying 2011 a compliment. The LSU squad in 2010 and 2012 were elite teams and didn't win either. Losses that should have been wins.

Ok, but I don't doubt the players' hard work and that they go as far as the coach takes them. Do you really believe Miles will make some changes to the Offense? If not, then what does that tell you for future LSU teams?

I'm tired of the SEC fricking LSU over. 2012 and 2013, Bama gets a cake walk. And the SEC sure didn't help to get LSU a better Bowl even though they beat SC and A&M.

Of course LSU has a chance. But do they really have a serious chance with the offense the Tigers are currently running?

Do we believe Miles will make changes? I sure hope so...

Why do people keep saying that we were ONE play away from being in the BCS title game? Were we going to skip the SEC title game? We were a return away from losing to Ole Miss does that count? We were a field goal away from losing to Auburn, does that count? We couldn't beat Clemson, what makes you think we would have beat UGA?

With LM leading our program, we just about always have a chance.

We were a game away from our fourth west title in eight years.

That's consistency and with consistency comes a chance!

When you go 13-0 that's not "chips falling". That's earning it. The way Bama has been getting to the NC the past couple years is "chips falling".

I don't. Probably still wouldn't feel LSU has a chance for a NC if we had those 11 guys returning.

I go back to that notification that Moffett taped to his office window for the NFL scouts. I was hoping for more leadership from some of those guys listed. Maybe the team will have better leadership next year, but I don't know.
