He's totally right. Lets just fire Miles now so we can get a head start on finding someone for 2014.

Reality is, we were #1 in the nation in 2011, until neither the coach nor a winning game plan showed up with a listless Tiger team on 1/9 and lost it to a Mulligan team we'd beaten once that season already.

Oh, and we finished #12 or 14 in Season 2012.

Actually, I am kind of excited at the possibilities. I will miss Mingo, Montgomery, Reid, Minter, Logan, and Faulk. The position battles in the spring and summer should be interesting. There is a possibility that we might actually be a better football team if we stay free of the injury bug.Let's see who steps up, and let's see if the offense can become more of a weapon.

I guess Gene Chizik was a better coach than Miles too.

At least he won the championship w his heisman qb. We will see how great A&M is replacing some o line and still wo a great D.

Unless I see us drop out of the top 30 on D we will be good. A&M is Arkansas until proven otherwise.

Exactly. A&M has 1 above average in the last 2 decades and Def Coordiantors will have an entire offseason to scheme around JFF. A&M doesn't scare me especially coming to Baton Rouge; I think Cheifs D matches up perfect against JFF. Keep him in the pocket cause he can't throw and when he takes off, fast players, get him. A&M will be a solid team next year but is losing some key players and the true test presents itself when JFF goes pro after next season.

Lsu will play with a chip next year and play well. People seem to forget we lost 8 starters off the preseason 1 team this past season and were a few plays away from winning the SEC anyway. The 13 team is loaded with talent and will simply reload. Will there be some growing pains? Sure, but I believe we win our 2 tough home games and have a very good shot at a 1-2 loss season.

Les Miles needs to step his fricking game up this year. If there was ever a year he needed to put his big boy pants on it's this year.

Or else what?
What will you do? You just issued a threat. What consequences do you plan to bring?

Let me guess.

Really? You mean the team that was seconds away from beating Bama and going to the SECCG couldn't have won it all? Really?

What do you consider "fine"? 3 losses? 4?

Until we get the offense moving the ball we have earned the right for critics to talk -hit.

With our changes on defense we will struggle if we don't see a significant improvement on offense.

At this time nothing points to any reasonable explanation for an improvement on offense.

We will still field a team of good players but the SEC is getting more competitive each season.
Texas A&M and Ole Miss are much improved teams.

I will be pulling for our TIGERS. We win 10 games next year and everyone in the program deserves KUDO's.

At best with God's will 8&4 or 7-5. I hope I am wrong but with no defense & a so-so offense with our schedule I am not going to get too excited.

Some here have cried more than a spoiled 2 yr old over a 13-1, 9-0, BCSCG appearence, and #2 ending season.

The rivers of tears will run long and deep if we only have another stinking 10 win season and not a championship season of some kind.

It's really kinda amusing for me, a LSU fan who lived though Stovall, Arnsparger, Archer, Hallman, and GD, to come here and read the whining/complaining bout a HC with 3 west championships, 2 SEC championships, 2 BCSCG appearances, a BCS title, and a average of 11 wins a yr for 8 freaking seasons.

Speaking of stepping up, I would like to see the offensive coaching staff step up, wake up or what ever it takes to get the offense back on track. I don't like the co offensive coordinator concept. We need to have a dedicated OL coach and a dedicated OC. We were young on the OL this year, but not lacking in talent. We need some changes in the scheme that we run. IMO, we need to utilize the TE's a lot more and the OL needs to improve in pass protection. I'm sure Mett would agree.
Most would probably say, that at the end of the day, it's about wins and losses. In 2011 & 2012 we had a great win to loss ratio, but it was painful watching the offense struggle.

Some of us here noticed that, too.
