I am going to grill some thick pork chops tonight. I normally use salt, pepper and garlic, then glaze with green pepper jelly before taking them off the grill.

Any other ideas? Inspire me....

TIA

Have you ever used a brine? Even an hour soak while you fire up the grill can make a big difference in both moisture and flavor. Especially with a high heat application like grilling.

Green Pepper Jelly glaze sounds delicious.

I like Juniper/Apple/Molasses flavors with pork chops.

Never tried a brine on a pork chop. Might have to remedy this tonight!

sometimes i cook a couple chops on my foreman, don't add nay seasoning till the end (garlic pepper), pick up the chops pour a little water on the grill and let them cook in that juice on each side a lil longer.

Don't cook it past medium rare. Medium as a last resort for the very squeamish. You're welcome.

This simple little recipe produces some really good pork chops. Give it a try. I just use some cheap McCormic Spicy Montreal seasoning.
