Can I get a list or a link to a previous thread on the subject. On the road now search isn't pulling up anything.

Everyone will have there own list, and although I greatly disagree most of the time with Tom Fitzmorris, here is his as it is easy to find:

That's such a predictable list, and not because those restaurants are amazing.

It's always fun to look at Tom's lists and find what he left out, to know who he's got a bone to pick with whenever he's putting together his lists.

There's always 2-3 obvious ones that anyone else would have included on such a list that he deliberately leaves off out of spite.

Also Coquette, is to me, really low.

I love it, and I don't get how anyone else doesn't love it.

in a city with like 1k restaurants, anything in the top 50 or so can be pretty interchangeable.

on his list once you are past 50 it seems to start including more casual places

August ...save your money. I've had better filets at Outback. The course meal is kinda cool but not even close to being worth it. Nice wine/bar selection and wait staff is one of the best, but save your money on one August trip and spread it around the other restaurants in the city.

I swear these "lists" are paid off for advertising.

Not really. Only a few on that list fit the bill.

Sorry you had a rough meal at August, but maybe that kind of place isn't for you.

I agree 100%. I've been to August many times and every time, huge disappointment.
