Rivals has us LSU #6 and them 11 when
RN announces how far up will ole miss go ?

I know this also depends on whom else we get!

Sure, but why does it matter?

Does Ole Miss getting RN make our recruit's talent decrease? Our class is one of the best in the country, probably THE best in the country from top to bottom, depth wise.

Ole Miss' class is extremely top heavy, but that top is very very talented.

For the record, I would probably trade our class for Florida's.. and that's it.

ETA - 247 is predicting them to finish in the top 6 or 7 if they get the guys they believe they will (Connor, Nkemdiche). Elijah Daniel is another 5* that they believe could go there, and Carl Lawson is being thrown around.

The O-Line class will be the deciding factor of where LSU will be in the next 5 years. Its the second hardest transition to college behind quarterback and it seems like a good group along with last years. The mesh between the two classes seams great, and bringing in the instate offensive weapons next year to go along with jennings/rettig should be lethal. You already know what Chavis is going to do to these beasts on defense.

Not this year. If we close the deal with Nkemdiche and a few others we will make the top 10.

Freeze doesn't pay much attention to stars and rankings. He focuses more on filling needs with quality athletes who will buy into his program.

Are you serious ?? Who cares ? Team recruiting rankings don't mean shite on these recruiting sites especially Rivals they are one of the worst talent evaluators around now. I just don;t understand why people care so much about star ratings, it means nothing.

LSU will rise up one or two spots once they re-rank the top 100 and top 250 next week. After that, if Ole Miss lands RN and one of either Lawson or Chris Jones, they could be breathing down our neck. It's crazy how close they are to us when LSU has 17 4 stars per rivals compared to 1 star and 5 4 stars for ole miss.

Our class is way better than Ole Miss'.

After looking at it, they are a good 600 points behind us, so they aren't that close to us.

I've been told that including RN, ole miss will close with 3 more 5 stars on signing day. I believe that will mean five 5 star players. They may finish #1.

Of course, Auburn did this too and we see how that worked out.

They aren't finishing #1.. the bottom and middle of the class is too weak

They will likely close with 5* Elijah Daniels(DE), 5* Safety Conner, and 5* DE Nkemdiche.

Star gazers would take Ole Miss' class before ours, too. That's the funny part

Rivals formula puts too much emphasis on position ranking and national ranking.

I know. They have 15 3 stars and will finish with a few 5 stars. We have 20 4 stars and a 5 star and people won't credit the class. It's one of the better classes LSU has ever assembled.

Top to bottom this, IMO, will be the best class on paper at NSD in our history. Next year we will have better superstars, but we have outrageous depth in our class this year and in the most important spots- both lines, DBs, LBs, and QBs.

Thats how you build a sustainable powerhouse in the SEC. Not with 14 WR's like A&M.
