He will visit Feb. 1st (per ESPN).

The guy is a 4 star WR (could play Safety) out of Pompana Beach, Fla./Boyd Anderson according to ESPN, but has only played one year of football.

He visits Bama this weekend.

He is 6-1 and has great top end speed. Here is some film:

How are we gonna make space if several of these guys want to commit?

So far, these guys are in play:

Robert Nkemdiche*
Priest Willis*
Tahaan Goodman
Tashawn Bower*
Eddie Jackson
Kevin Spears
Artie Burns

* denotes a player who is a take regardless of numbers.

I would put an asterisk next to Goodman also(if Priest comes, so does Goodman) and you forgot Kamara (even though he is likely JuCo bound and put him in place of Burns), who would come into play if RN is in play.

Obviously there are always academic casualties so our numbers will drop there, but it looks like we are going to take a full 29 person class

Yeah, maybe Burns is not a likely candidate to switch. Kamara is a JUCO, so I didn't put him on the list.I'm not sure Tahaan Goodman is a must take if we are up against the numbers. They way I understood it, LSU only has 3 spots left.

I dont think Tashawn Bower is a take regardless as you say.

Safet is a much bigger need and Goodman or Burns and even Jackson are infront of Bower at this point as a priority take.

I think Eddie Jackson may be one of the best players in Florida this year and is going to be a huge star down the road for some team.

Hes the kind of kid that if put in a spot where he wanted to commit and we didnt have a spot you would ask one of our instate kids to take a greyshirt. Hes that good on both sides of the ball.

I'm not talking about whether a kid is a longshot. Bower is visiting LSU, so there is always a possibility. LSU is bringing in 4 DEs and only 1 safety in this class, so I can see your point of view. But LaCouture will likely be a DT in a year or two. That leaves them with 3 DEs to replace the four who have left the program.

With all the players transferring and leaving for nfl, I wonder what the number of players we can take now. No way we only take 3 more (I'm thinking more than that). I'm sure I could be wrong.

We didn't sign a full class last year.
We had 8 early enrollees.. 6 count back to last year.
So I believe we currently sit at 19 for this years class. Meaning we should be able to take 6 more.
But due to the 2014 talent in LA and the TX defensive backs maybe we leave some spots open?

We have 25, we can sign 29, so we got 4 more.
