How? Who would you have liked to see in their place?

That's the point. There are plenty of Clear Channel Festivals around. SXSW is more what I'd like to see.

yeah, and it's been pretty lame for a while, it's called Jazz Fest, not Classic Rock/Adult Contempory fest.

Wow, cute zinger, you got me with a my town is better than yours. what's next, is your big brother going to beat up my big brother?

Every one of thoses headliners will play in Houston, we do get Clear Channel Fest every summer, which is where acts like Fleetwood Mac and Billy Joel should play.

Have fun with all the lame tourists at Classic Pop Fest

I'm pretty excited about Jimmy Cliff and Willie Nelson on the same day. I don't really care much for the rest of the festival.

Saw Hall and Oates about two years ago after a Tampa Bay Rays game. Here is the problem with them, and I am a Hall and Oates fan.

No one told Daryl Hall it isnt 1984 anymore. All of the classic songs started with a two or three minute improvisational jam that reminded me of the bartender on Real World New Orleans' scat music. He was yelling at the sound board the whole time to turn this mic up or that amp down. All of this in the shitty Trop that had about 2,000 people left after the game.

+1. That's where the real fun is at. I saw My Morning Jacket in the Treehouse with about 70 other people. Amazing.
