How does this affect his value in fantasy? I have him for $1 in a keeper league. However, with this move and the possibility of him still not playing 1B, he does not even make my keeper list. I see him dropping off in the larger ballparks of the West. Am I off base? My belief is to trade him...can anyone offer me belief this won't affect his numbers?

Is that a comparison of Safeco and Nats Fields?

Safeco. They are moving in their fences. If he hits it 400' it wont really matter where he is playing. I wouldn't let the ballpark factor affect your decision. I'd be more worried about where he will play and how often.

I moved him for Utley in your old TDBL team.

That's interesting. I wasn't aware of that. I still worry his RBI total will be deflated a bit with that pitiful offense. Additionally, he may not have much to hit if the guys around him don't do their jobs.

Their offense is much improved, imo.

They've been young recently, and now some of those guys are starting to mature.

Ackley, Montero, Seager are all just now hitting their primes and the additions of Morales and Morse can only help.

What is their everyday lineup is my question?

How much time does Montero see behind the plate?

Have they given up on Smoak?

Do you think Morse will play first base any? This presents a major problem to my Fantasy Team if he only plays outfield...

I'd be more worried about Morse the player then any factors like ball park and protection(which is a myth).

His 2011 season was an anomaly as far as power. He had 70 HR in 2700 AB's in the minors. I'd say 25 HR is a best case scenario (assuming he gets the starting job)

Montero is going to see significant time behind the plate. They've been putting out feelers on the market for Smoak on the trade market all off season.

There's some potential there for a decent offense.

Who's playing first? Morales? Smoak? Morse?

Im thinking its Morales with Smoak/Montero as the DH. And Morse to RF

not excited about the move, but at least he will get a chance to compete. hopefully the change of scenery will do him good

very surprised the rangers or lastros did not make a run at him

Morse in left, Morales DH's, and Smoak at first. Of course that could all change if Smoak is moved. Smoak has the best glove of the three(always touted as an Teix type fielder) so I'd think he's the obvious choice for the bulk of the 1B games played. I believe Montero hits much better when he's playing in the field too.

could look at a lineup as follows

CF Guiterrez
2B Ackley
DH Morales
C Montero
3B Seager
RF Morse
LF Ibanez
1B Smoak
SS Andino

Saunders will be an everyday player (and Ryan is the SS). Lineup is kind of a cluster frick, unless Smoak hits right away he will lose starts at 1B to Morse and/or Morales. Ibanez is also a platoon guy, I guess Morse gets his OF spot against LHP.

Now if someone could actually get on base first.

Looks about right... I think Saunders starts at the expense of Guiterrez.

I think for $1 and his 30/100 potential, you have to consider keeping him. I wouldn't sweat over his ballpark.
