17 seems awfully low for LSU.

If they can ever find a way to score points, they can be a dangerous team next season.

How in the world is USCe and UF ranked 10 spots higher than LSU?

It is a smart pick for CBS tho. LSU plays @TCU, @Bama, @UGA, vs Fla, vs A&M. If they go 10-2 that's a solid year.

A&M plays @LSU and vs Bama and cream-puff city (unless Ole Miss, MSU, Auburn, or Arkansas are unexpectedly solid). If A&M goes 10-2 that is kinda "meh"

As long as it doesn't count in any tangible way in formulating 1 vs. 2 in January I like these. Otherwise I want them killed with fire. I'd put Ville higher though.

People still believe ND is/will be a Top 10 team?

I guess they could get the wins only to get pummeled again.

People argued Arkansas was a top five team two years ago when LSU and Alabama blew them out in the same fashion Bama just beat Notre Dame

I don't have a problem with Notre Dame being top ten

Didn't think they ever took difficulty of schedule into account for these things. That would make sense though..Bama and A&M have far and away the easiest schedules for any relevant SEC teams in 2013.

Florida beat y'all last year and we gave y'all a hell of a fight. Neither us nor Florida lose as much as y'all (at least underclassman) and you probably have a tougher schedule this year. Just a couple thoughts.

I understand LSU has a very difficult road to the championship, but pre-season polls are more based off of talent and the skill level of the team, rather their chance of going undefeated.

LSU returns 14 of 22 starters, a senior QB, almost the whole OLine, a a stable of stud RBs including 35 of 44 on the 2 deep and 16 freshmen who played significantly.

17 is too low.

Defense took a serious hit. Our secondary, LBers, and Dline will be worse. Thats not good.
