You think we "slow play" Noil and try and get a few WR's on board before he publicly commits?

Clapp has a long way to go to be as good or better then the best o lineman that have played at LSU.

He will never get the carries he needs at LSZu to be considered the best that has ever come out of Louisiana.

Slow play a top 50 player that only has one way to go from there and thats up. . We take 3 reciever's and thats noil, quinn and dupre. Quinn and dupre will be the first to commit though.

I just hope he's passionate about playing for us.
You dont have to worry about this... kid was brainwashed LSU from infancy. The family absolutely hates Bama and Saban for that matter. Although they respect Saban especially since he gave Will his very first offer. First two offers were Bama and LSU, not too shabby....

he said that when its all said and done that Leonard Fournette could be the best running back prospect to ever come out of Louisiana.

Something dosen't quiet seem right to mention Fournette and Les' running back by committee in the saame breath. Maybe Les could redshirt Fournette and let the back field committee members slim down some.Good luck with that.Fournette will have to truly be a Tiger fan to sign with us. Think he would be a committee member at Alabama ?

He was obviously joking. His next sentence was "Good luck with that."

Everyone busts Les' balls for being stubbornly committed to stuff like RB by committee and a conservative offense, but it's all BS. When Les has a clear front runner he uses him as the main back; when he doesn't, he uses RB by committee. Similarly, when he has the right tools he opens up the offense; when he doesn't, he plays it close to the vest and maximizes his chance for victory. The guy is a great coach.

I think you're seeing in the NFL how committees in College help a player. Simply look at Ridley vs Ingram: one is hurt all the time and crashing into his blockers, the other has fresh legs and finds holes.

Ridley averaged 19 carries a game his junior year and 1100+ yards with 1 run I believe to go over 25-30yds. Fournette has the speed and power to break one and take it to the house. I remember on here that somebody didn't like how he was bouncing the ball outside a lot. Hello did you not see AP run at all this year or ever? Both these guys have the speed power vision and patience to set up a block, bounce to the outside, run a guy over and sprint 60yds to the EZ. Everything from him reminds me of AP.
