Non-perishable LA food gifts

I want to bring a couple of small gifts to a friend who lives out of state and was wondering about some non-perishable food gift ideas that would be indigenous to LA.
I've got Crystal hot sauce and Slap Ya Mama seasoning. Perhaps some Zapps? Community coffee? Anything else I'm missing?
Unfortunately, king cakes, sausages and the likes won't survive the journey.

Some boiled crawfish flavored jerky would be good.
The stuff really is amazing.

Where would he find Hubig's Pies? Does someone have a stash someplace?

I picked up a 1/4 pound to bring to my parents from the jerky place in Denham Springs, by Bass Pro.
It lasted until the Lobdel exit on I10. My parents still know nothing about it.

Tell me more. I know nothing about Denham but would like to make a trip to Bass Pro soon to buy a life vest. Where is said jerky place and name ?

There was none on the shelves right after the place burned down, a run on them in all stores.
When they come back it will be a huge sales day for them

Mayhaw jelly, mayhaw pepper jelly.
If you can find any Leblanc's cane jellies, they're good and unique. I've only seen them at Joey's in Laffy, lately. Langenstein's used to carry them. Might still.
Cane syrup
Mam Papaul's king cake mix. Not great, but it's fun for the out of staters to make and be able to say they made a king cake.

When you exit for Bass Pro (from BR) you'll go right and somewhat loop around. There is a little strip mall directly in from on it. When you walk out of the jerky store, you look at BP, when you walk out of BP, you look at jerky store. All from a distance, of course.
Bring some money if you like jerky, because that place can get expensive quick.

Jar(s) of roux.
I have lived outside of LA for 6 yrs now and there's a lot more LA stuff available now than when I moved. I've seen Slap ya Mama all over the country along with Zatarain's Seafood Boil.
