This would be like Morris Claiborne or Spencer Ware at QB

He would be a good qb, just not at LSU. He was stellar in high school, but you know what happens to athletic qb's in high school who comes to LSU......ask Sheppard.

I don't see why not. He's was LA Mr. Football as a QB so I don't see why you don't give him a shot. He came a long way this past season with his passing to go along with the running ability he already had. I'll have to send him a text a little later and see if they ever mentioned it during recruiting or if it was WR the entire time.

Seen him play and he could be a successful SEC QB! Athletic, smart, fast, good arm, hard arse worker, a Winner!

Wish he was coming to ULM as a QB

Depends on the system, case in point Devonte Noil, being recruited as a wr, now all of a sudden it seems as if aTm may give him a shot as a qb. He's 5'9.....Johnny football is more like 5'10-5'11 not the 6'1 he keeps saying he is, if you see him in person you would be like ........"NO FREAKIN WAY HE'S EVEN 6'0"!

Rettig and Jennings, dog. Rivers isn't even a factor anymore. No need to add extras to QB as well.

Sheppard could barely throw in High School. He wouldnt be a qb anywhere in the country.

I agree. Lord knows all of the negitigers are looking for a 5 loss season anyway. I honestly don't think hewould do any worse than Mett. He's a very smart kid both on and off the FB field. And the fact that he's an EE he would have time to learn the off. I actually think the time he spent a WR made him a better QB.

Yes lets put a true freshman WR at QB. Sounds like a great idea. You guys should make the big bucks

Huh, I guess he threw for nearly 2000yds and 20 tds by throwing bubble passes? Funny Texas and Michigan were gonna give him a shot at qb

no they werent. The main reason he went to LSU was because Miles was the only one to guarantee him a shot to play QB.

And please watch his highlight film. He was constantly throwing ducks to wide open guys because the other teams were more worried about him running the ball
