Now, let's all point and laugh at the Flyers for acquiring Steve Mason, as it is apparently their franchise philosophy to find the crappiest goalie in NHL history. Of course the Flyers got another lousy goalie.
The Gaborik deal is genuinely shocking. Very cool for C-bus.
And, my favorite stat of the day, Cory Conacher is now the Senators leading scoring despite not playing a single game for them yet. What is Yzerman thinking? Lightning got robbed.

The problem is that high profile players don't like to play here. They get bored, and depressed and need to be traded.
Hopefully it'll be different with Marian, but I doubt it.

Nash loved Columbus. He was just sick of losing though. Great trade for the Jackets though. I'll miss Dorsett and Brassard.

where are you hearing this? All my Caps twitter feeds seem to be flat out stumped. I heard the rumor about them telling the local media they will want to be there, so it's a big trade... or GMGM is trolling big time.
