I highly doubt this...Mett aint losing that spot...Jennings is good but I don't see him passing up Mett or Rivers next yr....but 2014 he will get a real good chance...We forget that everyone doesn't transition to the next level as fast...he may need a yr or two to understand the offense and adjust to the speed

I hope both guys coming in are as good as the appear on film and paper. Hopefully, we are going from famine to feast in the QB department.

Lets get them both some top WR talent and take over the SEC. Mett will start but I hope one of these guys see some play time this year.

Yep...and some tool loser is gonna register as TIGRRETTIG and whine incessantly if Rettig doesn't play.

If I was a betting man, which I am completely, I'd bet Jennings is ahead of Rettig on the depth chart from Day 1. He is the full package. Doesn't have a cannon, but a good arm and great accuracy. He seems to have awesome pocket presence and can extend plays with his feet. He isn't a run-first guy nor does he have the Tyrod Taylor/Manziel speed, but he is plenty athletic and quick to avoid pressure in the pocket.

I am sincerely pumped to have this kid on our team.

C'mon Man. Not likely to learn the play book and beat out Mett. Even though Mett didn't light up the scoreboard, it was not all his fault (OC and playcalling - cough/cough).

Running left and throwing back right

Usually not a good idea.

Actually not really, except for color of skin.

Randall has elite arm strength and is faster/shiftier than Jennings. I think Jennings is much more comparable to a Purdue Drew Brees. (Not saying he'll be that good).

He has decent arm strength but very accurate and can escape pressure well while keeping his eyes downfield. He can run if he has to.
