Signing 25, back counting and greyshirts

I know the question has been asked before, with regards to how many recruits LSU can sign in any given year, But what I want to know is with the numbers looking as tight as they are can LSU offer greyshirts to some of this years recruits and then give them scholarships during their first year that won't count towards 25 signing limit? I am aware that you can back count, if you signed a smaller number in the previous year, but if you have available scholarships, short of the 85, when can those be given to greyshirts or walk-ons?
