Help me understand the values assigned to my car by kbb.com and/or nada.com.

If I have a 2010 model vehicle and I check nada.com today and it tells me my car is worth 30k. When will they update that value? daily, weekly, monthly, yearly?

I have a 2010 that I want to sell/trade in later this year. Wife wants to do it now. Im trying to figure out how much the car will depreciate since we will still be in 2013, regardless if it's done now or later this year.

Any help/input appreciated.

the longer the 13's are out the more it will depreciate. If you aren't going to be upside down in it then I would definitely do it sooner than later. Are you looking to buy new or used?

I know they depreciate the longer they are out but how do I determine that rate at which they depreciate?

I am not upside down, not even close.

Wife wants to get rid of the full size SUV and get a minivan for the growing family.
