thx for answering the franchise player question thrill
correct on the KC o-line, I'll adjust accordingly before mocking again. They definitely look like a team that could trade down out of the #1 spot. I'm just wondering about Poe there. He had quite an underwhelming season but is still pretty raw. Never took over as a starter anytime during the year. For a 3-4 team Lotulelei might carry more value than Werner. A big if depending on their estimation of Poe now.

The Saints need to stop with this "raw" or "development" nonsense. The team has 4-5 more years of prime Drew Brees. Except in 09, I feel they waste him every year with that horrible shitty defense they trot our there.
I'm just going to call it like I see it...draft MFers that can play now. The Saints don't even have people that can even marginally ball.

it's all in how you weigh the potential then how it pans out
. JPP in 2010 was very much in the same category and considered a stretch at #15. 27.5 sacks in 3 years. THAT would be NOW enough for me.
Same year at #16 Derrick Morgan GT to the Titans was considered a much safer pick. Sacks? 1.5, 2.5, 6.5

If Maponga is still sitting there in the late 3rd - He'd be worth jumping up a few spots for
definitely radar worthy, read this on him-
the only new name on the list appears to be TCU junior DE Stansly Maponga, wo actually twittered last night about his decision to throw his hat into the 2013 draft ring despite the fact that he missed two games with a foot injury this year that required post-season surgery. The 6-2, 265-pound Maponga led TCU with 9 sacks and 5 forced fumbles in 2011, but had only fou sacks this past season. Maponga is considered to be an early third-day prospect this year.

I would not complain one bit if we got Ansah or Montgomery. One has the potential of a top 5 DE and the other top 20 IMO. But no one will know for about 4-5 years.

sometimes faster...
2012
#15 Bruce Irvin with 8 sacks in role playing had immediate impact
#21 Chandler Jones came right in like a boss for the Pats
2011
Von Miller #2, Aldon Smith #7, JJ Watt #11 all are dominant already
Our #24 Cameron Jordan came on strongly in year two
2010
#2 Suh and #15 Pierre-Paul proved to be the real deal very quickly

for those taking notes new KC GM Dorsey stated strongly that they will go BPA. Andy Reid said the same thing at his presser. There's absolutely no way Geno Smith can be #1 in that case then.
I like the case made for someone other than Joeckel cuz of the KC line. Still could be tho. Sometimes a BPA is just that overwhelming. Deuce at #23 was that way after spending a ransom just two years before on Rickey Williams.
Also draft related...
Who plays QB for Chip Kelly? Vick with his outrageous contract? Foles is hard to imagine in that scheme. Geno Smith there? Major question and draft implication to shakeout there.
