Lets get this back on track, how does everyone feel about the use of ice heaters and water movers to keep things from freezing over? This is one of my gripes with a lot of places up north. I can think of 4 places that are able to keep a enough water open during freezes to keep thousands of ducks in there area. Now granted these are big time operations with lots of $ but it just seems it is manipulating mother nature a little to much for me. I would also be fine with no more mojos but thats just me. For the record this has a been a pretty good year for the spot we hunt back home on public in SELA and my buddies place in Klondike has been pretty lights out, they are close to 600 birds out of one blind for just big duck season.

Yea I am for real, it drives me nutts when my buddy sends me pics of thousands of GHs sitting off the snake river in heated ponds when the temp is 12 degrees.
