The private rice field hunter is getting hit by this --- and y'all are right, the ducks are heavily avoiding pit blinds and the answer (for now) is a layout blind. We got shite on in Jeff Davis parish two weeks in a row when in the blind. Layout in the middle of a stubble field has been the only answer.
And Jeff Davis parish got raped by rain this past week. Had to canoe from camp to trucks yesterday.

Believe me, if anyone from Avoyelles believed DU/DW was blocking their ducks, one of the 200 lawyers down there would have filed suit against DU and LJ Mayeux(to prevent removal) and enjoined them from short stopping their ducks. Those are some litigious MFers.
