Most season premiere's are not that interesting to me because they insist on trying to set up the entire season in the 1st episode. Tonight was no different. I watched 5 season premieres last night, and they were all meh because of this technique.

Not terrible. I worry that the show is gonna get really over the top. Even though it's kind of over the top already.

I don't like the Jimmy storyline either but it was funny watching his face as his father-in-law was cutting what's his name up.

He did act the concealed terror pretty well. Still, I was hoping what was on everyone's mind would come true on the boat - that they'd throw him off, or use him as a "clay Jimmy". Maybe then the drug lord could have hit something. He wasn't doing too well with those pineapples.

I almost barfed during the poo scene. I don't know why I love the show when if I met people like that in real life, I'd hate them with a passion (government assistance, substance abusers, etc.)

Enjoyed it. Love this show for what it is and look forward to the next episode....and Emmy frickin Rossum keeps getting hotter and hotter which helps

I like the Jimmy storyline, having Fionna and Jimmy just "happy" makes for a less interesting Shameless.
the Kevin storyline is something I am looking forward too, but Lip is by far the most interesting character.
