I feel like he can definitely start this upcoming fall. I think White is further along than Jalen Mills was at this point last year (obviously) but we had some inconsistencies with Jalen Collins at times this season. If anyone in this class can step in and play right away it is Tre'. Can't wait to see him wearing #10 out there

He will see the field a lot, hopefully he can pack on about 10-15 lbs of muscle beforehand though.

What does it take to make you happy? Potential, I guess, is the answer, because you don't seem to be happy with the two outstanding young corners we have. In the first place, there's probably no corners in high school that are more advanced than Mills was one year ago. That guy stepped in and absolutely rocked it this year. Collins was very impressive, too.
I'm excited about White. If he starts that means he is truly elite, but I don't expect him to start ahead of Collins.

The experience of Mills and Collins, as well as the others that redshirted and will have more time in the system than White, will allow us to bring White along at a more deliberate pace. He won't be forced into action. His development can more closely resemble Peterson and Caliborne than Mills. That's a good thing. Though Mills performed admirably given the circumstances, as did Collins.

Well deserved. Still think there are a couple of other LSU commits who probably deserve a 5th star as well, but I have been around long enough to know how it usually works.
