Was he banged up in that game? He didn't look as fast as he's looked on other vids and that was against STM. I have zero concerns about his...well anything honestly. He's got all the tools.

Those STM guys took some really good angles and he still almost beat em if it wasn't for the horse collars. 22 second 200 m is plenty fast for someone his size.

5, my Aug peeps are telling me that LF is looking at ND more and more, and they are our real threat, and not Bama. any truth to that?

Fournette is a monster plain and simple. Seems to like LSU a lot. I hope we get him.

..well, that video is not that great , if you ask me. And I know you're not. Just sayin' . Looks like just normal high school stuff. He gets whacked several times. Doesn't look that fast. Whatever... maybe its just those video highlights.

I have not heard that at all. It will be us n Bama period. ND can sniff all they want. Why would he go to a offense that runs a spread concept and relies on scat backs. I just can't see it.

I seriously doubt it. This will come down to NSD I believe.

Notre Dame sends recruiters all over the place. They spend a pretty penny on recruiting. I went watch Joe McKnight play one day and ended up chewing the fat with a ND recruiter. It seemed like even if they didn't have much of a shot at signing the kid, they'd still would stick around to create a "presence" for Notre Dame in the future. Hell, if you have the money, go for it.

Whoever said he is not fast is nuts. He can scoot. Plus he is strong, but it is his vision that stands out to me. And has great cutting ability. He is a must get, even more so than McKnight was. Hope our luck is better this time around.

Yeah.

Scott was a 1,000 yd back for LSU. Among the most talented backs in LSU history.

Fournette is a HS kid that hasn't taken a snap in college.

All these negative comments stem from a game in which this dude ran for 340 and 3 Tds? Guess he wasn't fast enough to run for 500.

He's very athletic and has great feet, but he's not very fast....

His ability to break through tackles and make guys miss is fantastic, but a speedster he is not.
He's fast as hell. Not Jeryl-Brazil-Olympic-caliber fast. But still very, very fast.

Just saying, if he doesn't learn how to run low to the ground, he's not going to have a long career wherever he goes. Also, I saw at least 3 horsecollar tackles in that video...are they trying to ruin his career already? I'd be pissed if I was him.
