I was cleaning out the freezer earlier and found a whole turkey breast that I'm going to cook this week.

Any ideas on how to cook this meat after being frozen so long?

That's fine. I usually just salt, pepper, and flour then fry. I have done a whole breast deep fried. Injected it with liquid butter and tony's. Not too much. Light coating of flour and tony's then deep fried. Was pretty damn good and very juicy.

Another good one is turkey pot pie. We usually use the scraps from a couple turkeys. But you could use the the breast. Normally we boil the carcass after breasting and remove the rest of the meat. Then its just meat, mixed veggies, 1/2 stick of butter, and a can of cream of chicken soup. You can make a crust or use bisquits. Grands does real good. Easy camp meal. Salt and pepper to taste.

My favorite way to cook wild turkey is to make fajitas. Cook it in a skillet with a pack of McCormick fajita seasoning and some bell peppers and onion. Legit!

This! Come on March! I haven't had any fried turkey breast since April. Drool, drool, drool.

Wish we still had fall turkey season. Would always nail one with the bow. Had'em shitting all over me this fall and couldn't do anything about it. Almost outlawed a couple just for the breast.
