Isn't the free kick sitll in both the NFL and college rule book.
When was the last time anyone can remember seeing one utilized.

A couple of times in the NFL the last few years.

with janikowski the raiders should probably try this everytime they fair catch one the 50 or closer.

Here is the one that barely missed in '08. Matt Flynn from LSU was holding on that one. It's a weak video but the end of it shows just how close he was.
