Planning on going to my first game ever this year on a Sat night game. Do you need a parking pass if you want to tail gate. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.

You need a parking pass to park in one of the lots.

You can tailgate in any lot that doesn't require a parking pass! Don't waste your money. Find an oak tree and set up shop. Walk in before the 1st pitch

You can park in the grass off the corner of Burbank and Nicholson across from the Box and tailgate all you want. That's what we usually do at least.

I agree with Wash...we used to set up there pre-game and catch BP home runs that made it out of the park...we had our grill set up on one of those grassy strips right across the street from right field fence...

Man, I love me some LSU baseball...I've had some great times at old Box...and new....I went to opening series at new Box, last time I saw a live game....

the spots near the intersection along the railroad tracks are the best free parking IMO. Just take your stuff and walk to a tree (or don't if it's still February) on the South side of the stadium and you're set.

We tailgate @ Hayfield & park along the tree line.
