Guess LSU's talent made him look better than he really was or maybe the bucs needed a fall guy: Link

Joe hates to use “unnamed sources,” and rarely does, but Joe has an excellent source telling him that Cooper was forced to run Schiano’s secondary drills and was unhappy about not being able to use his own drills and coach in his own way. But of course, there’s more to being an NFL position coach than just teaching.

He's already with the UCF staff sadly.

I want him back

2014 if our DBs don't progress. I hope. Reid regressed this year and Simon didn't light it on fire. We will find out next year if it's coaching.

Cooper is not to blame for the problems in Tampa Bay. The only thing I fault him for is being dumb enough to get involved with that mess in the first place. I'll bet he's glad to be back coaching college players and wishing he had never left LSU.

Cooper is a BEAST. Go ahead and count how many DB's he's put in the NFL. Yes, While at USCe too. I want that cat back on our sidelines.

Losing him and Wilkerson helping the O line last year was almost as bad as losing TM.

If true thats a good move for him, Willie Taggert is one hell of a coach.

2012 DBS would have struggled even if cooper was still on staff given all they had lost. Simon and Reid regressed because they had no competition for their spots and made up their minds before the season they were going pro.

Bucs needed a fall guy for the collapse they had in the second half of the season. That said when you lose a game 41-0 in the NFL.....the defense isn't the only problem. I give Schiano 2 more years and he is out. The guy is in over his head in the NFL.

The secondary was burnt toast this season under the great recruiter. Get Cooper back in here if at all possible.
