Shelly you havent missed it . It seems to be late this year for some odd reason. If only this damn weather would straighten up and get right.

Shelly I hunt around that area and I think the rut is over. It was a full moon the week the rut was suppose to happen so I think they just rutted at night

Maybe. In my experience though the moon doesn't normally affect the rut. A doe will be in heat for 24 hours. I hunt the moon phases. But during the rut the moon usually doesn't matter. But like I said earlier this season has confused me

Great buck! I would be putting him on the wall.

Damn I wish our season lasted as long as y'alls. Our rut is over by the first of Dec. and season ends Jan 6th. Of course I don't think I would still be married.

Many Kudos

Damn pretty rack. Give me a tall heavy rack over a wider shorter rack any day.

Fine deer What part of Ms? I'm in Woodville and am confused as ever! I think the rut is over, but never saw any chasing

Same here. Wood ville area has always been around Christmas week through first week of January.

Y'all see my comment about what the biologist said. Supposed to be this weekend.
