I saw a couple real wolves in Idaho about 3 years ago. Animal in that pic is too small for a wolf. WAY too small.

There are some in the Ellic zoo. Very yote-like, but I rarely get a good look at them.

Not always. The two I saw in Alaska were surprisingly small (and had radio collars). I think further south they are larger though.

Stil not sure what I saw many years ago on my Dads farm.

It was black(or very dark), long hair, and much larger than any coyote I had ever seen. Running wide open at a few hundred yards. I watched it with my 10x scope until it ran out of sight. This was about 1997.

I told my old man about it and he said that there was a small pack of lobo wolves on that place when they first cleared it in 1978.

It definitely had wolf like features, but so do some large dogs. Haven't seen anything similar since.

Where is the line when you guys say "this far south"?

In central Arkansas on my family's land we see what resembles a wolf every few years. Coyotes we see all the time but this "wolf" is noticeably bigger and there is no way to confuse them. It makes a noise that is different then a dog as well.
