Why does NFL NOT have a central office that handles all in game reviews?

You could have a crew of a few people that would do all in game reviews (I can't see a scenario in reg season where you would have more than 2 replays happen at any one time). You would get a much more consistent and unbiased (don't kid yourselves the on field crew doesn't like to be proven wrong) product. Plus IMO it would save a bunch of time.

I agree. I hate that the field crew gets to determine the review. I totally believe they are reluctant to admit they missed a call.
