worst rule in football?

Edit: doesn't matter if that play didn't get overturned, should NEVER be in the rule book

If they would have overruled that, would have been 100% horseshite

I don't care who wins the game, but I would have been mad if they overturned that call. That should clearly be a turnover 10 out of 10 times

I feel like they overruled one of those against the Texans a few weeks back that made this one look like an obvious incompletion

I thought it was a good call too. He lost control but regained possession, then fumbled

Looked like he regained control with both hands at his waist before losing it again

I don't care what the rule is. He clearly was not throwing the football.

He started to throw it, then changed his mind, and in the process of pulling the ball back in, it started slipping, and he dropped it.

He never regained possession, but so what.

I don't know if the referee's call was correct based on the rule that is in place, but it was the "right" call in that Manning wasn't throwing that ball, and it was a fumble.

I still think a team being penalized for a coach throwing a challenge flag on a play that automatically gets reviewed is worse.

If the same exact thing happens with Brady guarantee they overturn

I think it could be seen as worse than the one that screwed the lions for the fact that the refs don't call it consistently at all...because it's not a clear rule

At least the challenge rule is clear
