LOVE the soundtrack to this movie. Grew up watching the movie as well, so as cheesy as the movie is, it is very nostalgic to me.

My dad loved ONJ so we listened to a lot of her music when I was a kid.

That movie made me want to go to an awesome roller rink.

Never bothered to watch it, but ONJ was one of the most beautiful women in movies ever.

All I know is that when she appeared in that black outfit in the movie "Grease" (which I saw in the theaters during its first run--yes I'm old), I realized that girls were no longer "icky".

I was glad that the movie theater was dark and I had a bucket of popcorn on my lap.

I saw her in concert during her "Physical" tour. She was breathtakingly beautiful and could sing...

And that outfit, especially the pants, has been the official street walker uniform ever since.

I met her about 8 years ago at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. She was in town for the whole second week and drank at my by 5 nights out of 7. Natasha Henstridge as well. Two very beautiful, classy ladies right there.

But I always thought ONJ looked kinda old in Xanadu, not bad, but you could tell that she was over 30.

My favorite muse was the brunette with the big hair. The asian chick was goofy looking.

There's a private club upstairs at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. She was there for the whole week... 5 nights of with she was at my bar station.

ETA:

The entire Rodeo is 17 days.

ELO-ONJ-OMG

She could have gone the trashy route to extend her career kinda like Sheena Easton. She did do the Physical thing as a break from her beautiful girl next door thing, but didnt push it and will always be remembered for being a beautiful woman who had a beautiful voice.

Xanadu the song was great combination of ELO and ONJ voice...Im a sucker for good musicals I thought Gene Kelly was solid too!

Could never quite see Mike Beck of Warriors fame as the leading guy in Xanadu though! Warriors...come out and plaaaayyyy.

Sounds strippery. What were either of them doing at the rodeo? I guess they're fans, and she did some country music, but I wouldn't normally associate them with it.

They're both love horses. Natasha rides recreationally and ONJ owns horse ranches in Australia and I believe the UK as well.

ETA:

Not UK... Australia and California.
