Some of the bourbon brands have rye varieties. I think since the rye comes from Indiana or some shite (at least for Bulleit), they can't call it bourbon. The bourbon snobs can explain the ingredient differences.

Don't really know what good whiskey/bourbon is, but Eagle Rare 10 is enjoyable to me.

Where does makers mark stack up in the whiskey market. I like the taste but I'm to dumb on whiskey to know we're it compares.

I say it's sort of the beginning of the high end stuff. Oz for oz, I think Maker's or Bulleit are the best.
