paid 499 for mine right before christmas. the regular M&P's have always been a little more than the Shield

Had to get rid of my SR9c due to repeated light strikes on the primer causing FTF.

I've been torn between these two and the LC9. Pretty much threw out the SR9c because I'm looking for something with the least width- all other things considered. I really like the look of the SR9c and the better beaver tail makes me second guess. I'd think that would make it much easier to shoot.

I'm 99% sure I'll get the Shield. Just hate to order without holding one. Called Lafayette Shooters this week. They said they go as soon as they come in. I asked if I paid for one first, if they could then order and hold. Said yes, just scared to drop a dime w/out holding one first.

Tempted to get another G19. I'm interested in the Shield in case I ever get a CC permit. If not I can easily drop it in the console of my truck.
