Let me preface this by saying that I think he will pick LSU on NSD. However, here are some factors our arrogant fan base overlooks:

1) Despite their past failures, Ole Miss is improving (see LSU game last year). The landscape of college football is changing where it doesnt take long to either turnaround your program or sink it.
2) He can go to Ole Miss and be a demi-god. His signing would usher in a new beginning and he could be the savior of their resurrection. Him and his brother could have statues outside of Vaught-Hemingway by the end of his career.
3) Hugh Freeze is a dirty as frick recruiter. Even beyond the RN's dad hospital gig.

These are factors that will keep him interested in Ole Miss, but he ends up a LSU.

Aside from 2011, LSU usually comes out sluggish for the Ole Miss and Arkansas games so that is why I see the Rebels beating LSU in Oxford. LSU won't have anything to play for except for Chick fil A bowl.

Please provide any proof or even decent rumors you have for this statement.

From the interviews I've seen, just sounds like he's torn between us and OM because he knows we're a better destination with a greater chance to win a title, an easier pipeline into the NFL, a little more national exposure and he'd be around a ton more talent.. but his entire family is pressuring him to go to OM. We all know how it is. You don't want to disappoint the fam.

And while I am of the opinion that it is an OM lock.. it's not quite, at least not yet. If the guy was sure he was going to OM, as it appears, he would have committed already.

If he was seriously interested in LSU he already would've set up his OV to LSU

Proof? Rumors? That's some high standards you're setting, but okay, here's one I read recently on the Rant...

I've started to hear rumors about Freeze and dirty recruiting, too.
Think it may have been on the rant or RB...

At this point, I would deem it a coin flip to see if RN is a Tiger come NSD. However, my opinion is that I think he would have a better career at LSU with the amount of talent on the defensive side of the ball and with Chavis and his defensive schemes. If he goes to Ole Miss, he will be the focus of the offense when it comes to double teams and blocking. I just think he will have more opportunities for 1-on-1's with LSU and can have a beast of a career here. That being said, hope to hear that he will be coming to BR after next month.

Not to mention, with Reid leaving, they can let him have #1...big selling point there!

I'm pretty sure we sucked when Kevin Faulk committed to LSU.

we didn't suck for as long as ole miss has sucked for. when faulk committed in 95 we weren't going on 40 years of losing like ole miss

I'm a huge hater of Ole Miss, but I really love their coach. The program is headed in the right direction.

My opinions

quote:

just sounds like he's torn between us and OM

Right now he isn't torn. Right now it is ole miss probably (90% chance if I had to lay odds) or LSU (very small chance) but he knows right now where he wants to go.

He does not want you to know where he is going that is why there are two teams in the hunt right now. Right now one is 1 and the other is 2 on his list. There has to be two out there publically in the running because he doesn't want you to know where he is going yet.

He KNEW it was Clemson earlier and right now he knows it is Ole Piss I would guess. Our only chance is when he visits to elevate our standing with him and surpass Ole Piss at that point.

Currently on the DLine, Ole Miss has Channing Ward (one of the top DEs in the country coming out of high school in the 2011 season), CJ Johnson (8 TFL and 6.5 sacks at DE in 2012) and Issac Gross (True freshman last year, 10 TFL, 2.5 sacks at DT in 2012). How many guys are they going to double team? That doesn't count our freshman All American linebacker (RN's brother Denzel) who loves to blitz.

If all of these guys are so great, why was your defense so shitty this year?

Why is it rediculous?

Your saying you honestly believe that RN is a first rounder no matter where he goes to school?

So the title saying he will commit to ole miss is the pre-preface? Your contradict yourself in your first 2 sentences.
