We went to the final four 6 years ago, have several players in the NBA. LSU bball is simply overshadowed by football... BBall time is here though, and I'm jacked!

I'm a student. I go to the games; I just choose to sit at half court. I still get loud.

LSU student section should be abolished and given to TAF donors. Get rid of the dead weight. Plus the university needs money not more student welfare.

The point is that LSU has had 3 good seasons in the last 20 years. LSU has made the NCAA tournament something like 4 times in the last 20 years.

Fans filled Tiger stadium when we were god-awful in football for those 40 years..

Shouldn't have let Brady go, imo.

Taken away and given to whom? The rest of the joint is empty too.

Plus, school has been out of session since early December, before that was finals week, dead week, and Thanksgiving. They'll show up when the semester starts when they're actually in Baton Rouge instead of Texas.

Did anyone else see Vanderbilt's student section vs. Kentucky tonight??? They obviously played a major role in the game.

With our students jammed up on the baseline, I don't see them having as much of an effect on opponents as other schools. Just my opinion

I know that I personally stopped going to games I wasn't paid to go to (Bengal Brass) after they moved us behind the goal. This is the first year where I have even considered breaking my boycott and attending games as a student. However, I will still not sit in that section except to annoy specific members of the band.

I counted 5 students at the bethune cookman game. LOL.

Non-revenue generating sports get more than that.

I along with 15 other students were there sitting just outside the student section.

I refuse to go to a basketball game where I can only see a 2/3 of the court because the goal is in the way. Therefore I will never sit in the lower part of the student section where it is now.

I agree. But I honestly believe that the section will be moved back to midcourt next year. TJ's teams made the SS a ghost town, and as a result, it was moved. Coach JJ embraces the students and appears to have full control of the operations right now. I believe he will do what's best for the program and move it back soon.

My reaction if this were to happen:

I don't understand. Winning is no fun if you never lose.. It's sports, you have ups and downs. I personally have lost interest in 80% of football games since I know they will be blowouts.

I'm going to assume that you're just another one of those spoiled fair weather fans.
