Fried whole hog

I have a friend in Central Texas that is a hog hunter. We were discussing various preparations for some of his smaller hogs and we started to wonder if you can fry a small hog like a turkey. There is a youTube video that shows one guy doing it but I am wondering if anyone has tried it. If so how was it? Should we inject and fry away or just smoke 'em. TIA. Recipes would be welcome from those with success.

Like i told you yesterday on the food board, smoke it. I don't know that you can do any better with any other method of cooking.

In my defense i poste it to the F&D board first...little response there. Thought I would try somewhere else. I even included the link to show I had tried. Apologies for the bother. Ohhh and Shawn, get laid brother. Lighten up. There is enough outrageous stuff on this and other boards to get really sore about. Was just counting on the inherent goodness of the people of TD. My first mistake...
