Food Board Craft Beer Tournament

Since there are now "tournament" threads popping up every 5 minutes, has a beer tournament thread ever been created?
I don't have the time nor inclination to put on one of these threads, but if one wanted to start one, which 16 breweries would be allowed in?
I guess you'd have to have beers that were widely available in the Louisiana/Texas Markets. For starters i think i would have.
Abita (just because it's large and local)
Sierra Nevada
Stone
Green Flash
Clown Shoes
Dogfish Head
Sam Adams
What are your thoughts, and who wants to take on this challenge? not it.

Let me know who wins so I'll know which beer to lust over.

Southern Star and Karbach in a NY minute...also, it greatly depends on which offering you are considering...St. Arnold has two or three consensus premiere offerings according to many on this board but their entire lineup certainly doesn't fit that bill...
I haven't had anything bad from Southern Star yet and their pro-am is incredible...same with Karbach, their DIPA Rodeo clown, is outstanding and they are here in my back yard

I've really enjoyed the Lakewood and Deep Ellum brews that you have sent me that Rouge takes credit for.

Speaking for me, I'm a fan of Full Sail and would gladly put them in Shiner's place.
By the way, though, I've only bought Full Sail in TX. Have never seen it in Louisiana. What places around Lafayette area should I check? I haven't seen it in Marcello's or Ambassador.

Great list. I'd add boulder in there only cause I'm a fan of their stuff. Maybe over Shiner.
