That ND didn't deserve to be there?
Blubbering Lou said ND played their worst game of the season. No kidding. But how about the fact that their were not the 2nd best team in the nation?

I find it funny that ND was in the game this year but didn't belong but the same wasn't true last year when most thought Okie St. had the better resume even though the eye test was Bama, even with us beating them in their house. If you flip ND with Oregon and Okie St with Bama, Lsu has 1 ship, Bama none. But everyone loves Bama so life is good. yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well they were the only BCS level team that was undefeated and eligible. Hindsight is always 20/20. Based on the regular season they were more deserving than 2011 alabama.

Everyone atleast those that know anything about football knew that ND was gonna get rolled. You could see it in the players eyes in the second half. They were just wishing that they had went to a regular BCS bowl.

ND deserved to be there based on their schedule and record and the rules established. However, I don't think they were the #1 or #2 team in the country.

It's not the medias fault there is no playoff and never a legitimate champion crowned. At least that all changes soon, even if it's starting at only 4 teams. ND won every game they played, they deserved to be there.

Like the other poster said, it's the opposite of last year: ND DESERVED to be there. Were they one of the two best teams? No way.
Last year Bama didn't DESERVE to be there, but they were one of the two best teams.
So congrats to Bama to winning correct side of the coin both years in a row--get in on the "best" card when undeserving, and play the "deserving" team when they're not the best.
