Wrong board I reckon but I am curious. Who all on here is going Friday night? Wife wants to go but I am working. I might take off because we both dig him.

With that said, Do you SE Louisiana folks think Texas club or Bear Creek would be a better venue?

If Mrs. wales wasn't going out of town, I would like to go. He is great in small venues. I've never been to either venu though. Last time I saw him was at the Hookin Bull in Monroe.

He puts on a really good show at the texas club

It's just entirely too hard to get a beer there

And the crowd leaves something to be desired

Thats my thing. I happen to be a good friend who has connections with the owner of Bear Creek. I would much rather see him there rather than Texas club. Him being there might be in the works though.

I'd love to go see him play at bear creek.

I've seen him at Tclub before and it was a very kick arse concert, but I just hate being stacked in with a bunch of maxed out rednecks.

And when I think you're a trashy redneck, you definitely need to re-evaluate your life.

awesome statement. just remember there is a difference between redneckish ways and "white trash"

I am trying to get the owner to get him playing at Bear Creek.

also, very close to house.

I've seen him play a few times. Saw him at the house of blues in Los Angeles and it was a great show.

He came to Texas club last year and it was terrible. He was very disinterested in being there and sounded like shite

To be honest I am a little upset with myself about his last show I saw, remember blackberry smoke and they rocked, JJ I dont remember so much. Me and old Beam got into to it and he took me to the wood shed.

Of course there is.

One can be "redneck" without being trashy.

One can be trashy without being redneck.

However if you take your standard non-trashy redneck and make him a white trash redneck, you end up with an incredible combination of beer gut, sleeveless shirts, massive beer consumption, the attitude of a boar hog, the smell of a billy goat, the IQ of a gar fish, the work ethic of a 12 year old call of duty addict, without a doubt standing in a puddle of his own dip spit while crashing into people and yelling "PLAY FREE BIRD MOTHER frickERS"

I haven't seen him yet but have been considering going. When's he playing at Bear Creek? I seen Tracy Lawrence there way back when. Some real honky tonk shite out there
