they can't handle fans who love and appreciate miles and Lsu making the least observation about the obvious deficiencies. they just go ape when someone points out what everyone knows - we dont' run a decent offensive scheme.

we don't know why miles won't do it- we've seen that he is quite capable of doing it. He did what he needed to do to keep our defense and special teams as some of the best in the country. why not the offense? why?

this question keeps getting asked - reasonably from reasonable fans, and all we get is name calling.

we don't want to get rid of miles. he's a great coach. he's done great things. he'll continue to do some great things.

We sure would like to see some loving attention poured on the offense.

As a self-declared "posi-tiger," I am never one to make rash judgments about decisions of the coaching staff or execution of certain players on the field.

That being said, anyone who doesn't agree a change needs to be made at the OC spot is willfully blind to the situation.

When most sports analysis joke about your coach and program, which they do about Miles, something really is wrong with the coaching.

the first page of the rant is dominated by "saban>miles" and "bama>LSU" threads today. if all the saban and bama jock-sniffers weren't obsessing all over the front page, there probably wouldn't be the proportionate sunshine pumper responses. i mean, should we all just use the TIGER RANT to decry our team 24/7? would that be enough to satiate you?

Then your bitching is pointless. Say it aloud in your room. Is typing it really necessary?

That's not just today. I can't remember the last time you could do a word search for the first page of the Tiger Rant and not see the words "Bama," "Saban," or "Gump" come up.

He's a successful coach but I wouldn't consider him a great coach. Just as Ashton Kutcher is a successful actor but clearly not a great actor.

he's done great things

His teams have done great things at times and some very very foolish things at times. Both are reflective on Miles. Its my opinion LSU wins games in spite of Les Miles on the sidelines and not because he's there.

I'm not sure what great things we can expect from Les other than reasonably successful seasons due to LSU having a talent edge in 8-9 games every year.

I think the two camps agree far more than you think.
90 % of us are talking around each other in circles in basic agreement, and the other 10% of either camp, are not worthy of engaging.

This.

But God forbid you mention that Miles is too fricking stubborn to do anything about it.

Brew - I agree with you on the OC situation but I've asked this before and never got an answer: who is a viable candidate for the job? Everyone's crying and screaming that we need a new coordinator but they can never offer an idea for a good replacement

And to the OP, GTFO dude... The issue on this board is not the negativity, it's the REPEATED negativity... The same threads over and over and over and over... shite, this same general idea you have has been posted 10 times since the chicken bowl.... It just gets pretty annoying

Didnt the offense have over 400 yards against Bama? That game gave me something to be hopeful for...let Mett throw a bit more. We will see what happens next year..but no doubt we have to open things up a bit more.

I do. What's he done to stay? Play second fiddle to Bama when our talent is superior to theirs. Horrible in game coach. Makes horrible decisions. Not a good coach. Good recruiter, nice guy, but when it comes down to it and the game is on the line, I want almost anybody else but him. Cause history shows that he won't make the right call. This is his offense, those are his plays, and he's the reason why we aren't coming back from Miami with a national championship trophy with us.

This is the type of statements that get people upset. Name one other team in the country NCAA or NFL where teams win inspite of it's head coach.

There's no way any team can maintain success despite it's head coach.

I think that 95% of all LSU fans agree with this completely.
