How? And since Saban is the obvious measuring stick, why aren't all other programs getting new coaches since Saban has dominated the entire sport for 4 years?

Who recruits defensive players?

And regardless, what does your quote have to do with a game where the defense clearly failed us?

Because all other programs didn't have better players than Saban.

The only person in America who didn't know he had a better team than Alabama last November was Les Miles. With his stupid onsides kick, his stupid fake field goal, his idiotic calls, he had no capacity to understand we were kicking their asses.

It would be one thing if we were losing with worse players. But each and every year we underachieve. And apparently, that's good for you guys. Because at least we have better players. We don't do anything with them but we have them!

We don't have a problem with recruiting.

We don't have a problem with defense.

We have a problem with the one thing Miles coaches.... offense.

LSU will never win a national championship again with that man as our coach unless he assumes a roll of a Bobby Bowden or Joe Paterno and he's just a figurehead. Unless he lets his OC do as he let's his DC do now.. and that's run the offense without his input.

Oh, that must be why aTm, SC, Bama, Ole Miss, and Clemson moved the ball on us. If you think we dint have defensive problems, you're sticking your head in the sand.

The offense did enough to win, and the d failed. How anyone can argue that is beyond me.

Except stay on the field long enough to give the defense a rest and to keep the ball away from Clemson's 100-play, no huddle offense. LSU had eight three-and-outs; Clemson had three. Clemson ran 101 plays to 49 for LSU. Yeah, LSU's offense did enough for them to win.

Your answer is an ESPN link to the box score? You're going to try to tell me with a straight face that you would take Mett over McCarron?

And if you're too stupid to understand the link, let me spell it out for you....

Against Alabama, we had 39 minutes time of possession to their 20.

We had 435 yards to their 331.

We had 7 penalties to their 1.

We were at home and we dominated this team. They had two lost fumbles. And we lost. We kicked their asses and we lost. That team that beat the hell out of Notre Dame, we kicked their arse. In ever aspect of the game, at home, we kicked their arse except the scoreboard. And why? Because we have the lone surviving member of the 3 stooges as our coach. Yes, Curley is gone but we have Les.

One game means we have better players overall? Got it. You're too stupid to bother with. I'm out.

ETA: Using your retarded logic, Clemson has better players than us because they absolutely dominated us.

Yes blame our players. Especially blame Mett who Miles followed like a puppy for an entire year begging him to come to LSU. Blame him. Don't blame the man who saw Mett play in game after game and who recruited him. Nah... it's not the fault of Les who shows he can't develop offensive players. It's the fault of the offensive players who Les can't develop.

Makes all the sense in the world.... if you live up Les' arse.

Bama had the better players and team. We out played them this year and should have won the game. But we were in that position because of coaching and a great game plan.

You can't possibly be saying that lsu players >> bama players. You would have to be laughed at.

Did you watch the attrition and injuries we went through this year? Did you notice the guy straight out of highschool playing right tackle?

All things should be kept in perspective.
