Go frick yourself. Miles made some retarded calls that he admitted against bama. You shite on the only positive aspect of the team this year, and that was defense. Keep fricking stud as OC. Next season don't bitch and make excuses either.

I admittedly am not the biggest CLM supporter, but what really nags me is the pay raise leverage BS pulled by CLM and his agent. CLM realizes this is a business and to his credit, he leveraged the Michigan and Arkansas vacancies in his favor. CLM is interested in job security. I am not interested in his want for job security. Whether you like him or not Saban has set the bar for the West; furthermore, the additions of Sumlin, Bielema, and Freeze should give any true fan a dire sense of urgency.

If you want to be paid, like the best and your chief competitor wants to win every championship then you have to step up your game, or find job security elsewhere. We as a fan base cannot accept less than championships. Sumlin is a monster, Bielema will hang 80 on you without batting an eye, and Freeze is convincing top tier talent to visit OM, that's right OM. The west is the premier conference in all of college football. Talent alone will not get it done. Your eyes are not deceiving you. Call whomever and demand changes before it is too late.

yea they are if you dont win the national title they are....seems like the trend is if you win the sec title you are the best team in the nation and should win the national title

Tell me about it. LSU was the first SEC team to lose the NC after winning the SEC in 17 years.

Since 1992, 12 SEC Champs played in the NC game. FLA 95 and LSU 2011 are the only teams not to convert.

belittling LSUs NC. excellent

not sure why people say things like this. When evaluating a coaching job I dont see NC and then close the book. It was a 10-2 season with the biggest bowl win possible. NC doesnt end an evaluation. A NC is dependent on the performance of other teams in college football. In this NC season, we lost twice when #1, both in very poor fashion (at home and to inferior opponent)

Not belittling anything, but putting it in its proper scope is appropriate.

No I don't. LSU might have won, but it would be by the skin of their teeth if they did. That's how Miles' rolls.

Has anyone pointed out yet that Saban made about $5.3M this season while Miles made about $3.75M? Looks to me like we got what we paid for.

of course not every loss is on Miles, But Bama this year def is. He blew it and everyone knows it. Massive in-game coaching blunders. FTR, the team was prepared very, very well. But pre-game and in-game are part of the job. Saban looked lost. If Miles didnt outcoach himself he would have been the better coach on that night.

$3.75 for a #14 ranking. We overpaid him.

If the defense doesn't blow a lead in less than a minute. Lsu wins. The team was in position to win but lost at the end because defense played horribly.

I think we may have held onto a narrow lead to win the game.

That's because Chavis is perceived as doing more harm than good as evidenced by his excellent defenses overall both subjectively when watching or objectively when reviewing statistics. Miles, however, is perceived as holding the team back as evidenced by his conservative play calling and philosophy and/or wtf insane coaching calls whenever the game is close that inevitably fail and hurt the team. The putrid offense can be observed subjectively when watching them struggle against almost everyone this year and objectively when reviewing the offensive statistics.

In a vacuum, both Chavis and Miles have likely impacted results in both directions. My perception, and likely perceptions of others, is that Chavis is helping the program more than hurting it. For Miles, this issues is less clear.

And if the offense could have made the first down or just eaten more clock it would have been a win too. Of course, if the O had scored a TD it would've been even better but that's crazy talk.
