With the windfall of player attrition and the possibility of a 8/9 win season next year due to poor playcalling and further overworking of the players (i.e. hour long walkthroughs before 3 hour practices EVERY DAY), this latest gNC (Gump National Championship) could spell the end for Les. Afterall, LSU has had a tendancy to fire coaches for the inability to beat Bama (see Charlie Mac). It is becoming somewhat of a trend to see Saban come in to our state and take, not all, but some of the star players that LSU would normally be able to get with ease. He is able to paoch not only from Louisiana, but from our neighboring states as well. After all, why would a player from, say, Florida or Georgia want to bypass Alabama to play here when they get a better quality program at less distance and, oh yeah, they don't work their guys to death either. Has anyone ever wondered why LSU hasn't finished a regular season in a strong way? I can tell you, from experience, that it isn't becasue of the innovative way that practices are scheduled and executed here. There is a very legitimate chance that we finish 4th in the West next season behind gump nation, aTm, and dare I say, Ole Piss/Moo State (you pick). Then the following year, after all of the offensive starters have vacated, the scoring deficiancy gets worsened by inexperience.

My point here is, you are looking at possible back to back 8/9 win seasons with no sign of faulter in sight from Bama...

Look out Les, more empty seats from fans without "the chest" to stomach your hoky crap could begin the end of the Hat on the Bayou.

LOL.

So, let's fire the only coach in the SEC that consistently gives the top program a run for their $$$? (pun intended).

You people really are idiots.

Not reading all of that but the demise of Les will be the fact that he's too stubborn to fix the offense.

No, you fricking idiot.

Your point is garbage.

Shut up.

If you can't support your team, GTFO.

The margin b/w LSU and Alabama is razor thin. Rather than whining about the margin, do something to eliminate it.

Take a look at LSU's current commits and the guys they're still in on. Impressive.

this

When Alabama was down at the goal line with a couple of yards to go, I didn't see them call two time outs to insert an oft used tailback to run a jump pass. They just lined up an passed to the tight end over the top of the defense. No running QB needed apparently.

CLM will either leave on his own or retire at LSU. There is no way to justify a change at the top with his record.

The only part I agree with.

Lsu has the worst fanbase and it isn't even close. It's fricking pathetic at this point.

It is amazing how Saban winning at Alabama causes grown men to go all vaginal on this board. Between the faulty reasoning and fear-projection and somewhere on the way to the histrionics I can only face palm...

Yeah, some of the lsu fans on here really have a creepy love obsession with Saban. It's obvious to see.

this is the 1st i've heard of this. i thought the narrative was that miles was too soft and too much of a players' coach??

you're probably the same kind of fan that gets upset if they run it and don't get it. asking for a more creative offense.
