I got lag switched twice yesterday on B.O. 2

As I was playing some black ops 2 after bama already established their dominance in last nights bcsncg....I got lag switched and this is what happened... was on a map, was at a choke point defending bomb B on search n destroy....I placed a claymore behind me ... Enemy player circles around our spawn coming up behind me....walks right the door 2 ft away from my claymore facing him and he shoots me in the back.....he stands there as I see him on my dead cam and he is next to my claymore for two more seconds doesnt explode ...I was like wtf ?....then it explodes and kills the player as he thought he ran past claymore in enough time....he proceeds to tell his clan buddies he didn't wait Long enough to turn switch off.....he ends up lagging himself out after two more rounds....

As usual his team was talking smack and each round consisted of freezing until he lagged himself out for leaving lag switch off(turn down/up) to long....this happened twice..u would think something like this can be detected and players get banned for this...

He got reported ....Wuts say the gaming community here....obviously lag switches r a common occurance on all cod games ?
